Timber Treatment

Littleacre Products uses timber that has been 'Pressure Treated' with 'Wolmanit CX-8F' a product formulated by BASF in Germany. The treatment process involves the timber being placed in a large pressure vessel where the wood preserving fluid is introduced under pressure and forced into the wood. During the process the colour is added to give a mid-brown finish. All cut ends and faces are treated during build with a suitable preservative.
